WHat is Stronger shot?


Stronger Shot is a nationwide initiative created to help shelter pets get adopted through professional photography and storytelling. By replacing stressful intake photos with portraits that capture each animal’s personality, the program helps pets connect with potential adopters in a more meaningful way.

How it started?


Stronger Shot was founded by pet photographer Adam Goldberg of AGoldPhoto after seeing how many incredible animals were being overlooked because of poor shelter intake photos. What began as a local effort has grown into a network of photographers across the country working together to help shelter pets be truly seen.

Our Role in Miami


Xpawsures is proud to be part of the Stronger Shot network as the Miami photographer for the program. We work alongside shelters and rescue organizations to create portraits that highlight each pet’s personality, helping increase visibility and adoption opportunities for animals waiting for their forever homes.

Why it matters


For many adopters, the first interaction they have with a pet happens online. A photo can shape whether someone keeps scrolling or stops to learn more. Second Shot exists to help shelter pets make that connection and give them the visibility they deserve.
